    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Medical Front & Back Office Assistant (Hybrid) to support both administrative and clinical operations. This role will assist with patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and clinical support duties including training to obtain patient vital signs. The ideal candidate has experience in mental and behavioral health settings, strong organizational skills, and a passion for supporting patient wellness.

    Front Office Duties

    Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner

    Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

    Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately

    Verify insurance and update patient demographic information

    Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system

    Back Office / Clinical Support Duties

    Assist providers with patient flow and care coordination

    Assist with recording patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, weight, etc.)

    Prepare clinical rooms or telehealth workflows as needed

    Support documentation, chart preparation, and follow-up coordination

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations

    Qualifications Required:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience

    Strong communication and customer service skills

    Basic computer and EMR proficiency

    Ability to work both in-office and remotely (hybrid environment some Fridays)

    Preferred:

    Experience in mental or behavioral health settings

    Medical Assistant training or certification

    Experience taking patient vital signs

    Insurance verification or intake coordination experience

    Strong Attention to detail
