    Our growing practice is seeking an experienced front office coordinator to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the front office daily activities. In addition you will be responsible for surgery schedluing and educating patient for the process.

    Responsibilities

    Oversee the reception area to ensure a welcoming and efficient patient experience.

    Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.

    Manage the appointment scheduling system to optimize patient flow.

    Oversee the verification of insurance information for new and existing patients.

    Collaborate with billing staff to address any billing or insurance-related issues.

    Work closely with clinical staff to ensure smooth coordination between front and back-office operations.

    This position is also responsible for surgery scheduling and coordination with the surgery center.

    Greets patients and visitors. Determines their needs and directs them accordingly

    Data entry of demographic and insurance information

    Scheduling and registering patients, including the accurate collection of required data

    Receives, answers and responds to telephone calls from patients or their representatives

    Required Skills

    To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

    Healthcare experience is required.

    Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while keeping a professional and calm composure

    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a diverse set of activities.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with patients, their families, and colleagues.

    Empathy and patience in addressing patient concerns and inquiries.

    Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff, billing department, and other relevant teams.

    Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

    Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient records, insurance verification, and billing processes.

    Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Ability to convey information effectively to patients and staff.

    Familiarity with medical office software, appointment scheduling systems, and electronic health records (EHR).

    Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and a dynamic healthcare environment.

    Familiarity with healthcare compliance, including HIPAA regulations.
