    About the Role:

    Medical Receptionist – Bilingual English/Spanish

    Orlando Neuropsychology and Counseling is seeking a fluent English and Spanish speaking, friendly, organized, and compassionate Medical Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our practice in Orlando, FL.

    The ideal candidate must be dependable, organized, personable, and comfortable interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

    Responsibilities:

    Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk

    Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software

    Answer and route incoming phone calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries

    Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service

    Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information in the EHR system

    Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff

    Manage patient intake forms, medical releases, and HIPAA compliance documentation

    Requirements:

    Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare front office setting preferred

    Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software

    Knowledge of medical insurance verification and billing processes

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment

    Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with strong interpersonal skills

    High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
