SUMMARY
The Medical Information Contact Center Intern is involved in providing administrative, pharmaceutical, technical, and drug product support to the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Medical Information Specialist team in processing medical information cases, adverse event reporting, product complaint handling, medical writing, case entry to IRMS database.
- Develop product training and disease state training for MICC.
- Create and/or update process documents for MICC.
- Review client detail reports to identify trends and develop FAQs and other materials for clients.
- Attend and participate in department meetings.
- Assist as needed with handling of inbound/outbound calls in the contact center for overflow, peak demand, or specific projects.
- Provide support to Medical Information team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle miscellaneous projects within the MICC.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent telephone communication skills (professional, patient and cordial).
- Professional oral and written communications skills, exceptional attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office/O365/Teams (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet Explorer, database systems.
Dates for Internship will be May 18th, 2026 through August 7th, 2026.
