    Position Overview

    We're seeking a dynamic Patient Outreach Specialist to join our growing team. You'll serve as a crucial bridge between emergency department encounters and ongoing patient care, working directly with patients, medical providers, insurance companies, and legal professionals.

    What You'll Do

    Patient Advocacy & Support

    Conduct compassionate follow-up calls with patients after emergency department visits

    Guide patients through complex insurance processes and coverage options

    Coordinate comprehensive medical care including specialist appointments, imaging, and therapy services

    Provide concierge-level support to ensure seamless patient experience

    Insurance & Claims Coordination

    Investigate and identify optimal insurance coverage options for patients

    Assist with third-party liability claims and workers' compensation cases

    Navigate insurance denials and appeals processes

    Ensure proper billing coordination between providers and carriers

    Legal Service Facilitation

    Assess situations where patients may benefit from legal representation

    Facilitate connections with qualified attorneys in our partner network

    Support patients through the legal consultation process

    Maintain ongoing communication with legal partners regarding case development

    Case Management Excellence

    Maintain comprehensive patient records and case documentation

    Track patient progress through treatment and recovery processes

    Coordinate between multiple stakeholders including medical providers, insurers, and legal representatives

    Generate reports and maintain quality assurance standards

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare, insurance, or legal services

    2+ years of experience in patient services, case management, or healthcare coordination
