Job Description
A leading national civil defense firm is seeking an experienced General Liability Attorney licensed in Colorado to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters with a focus on Medical Malpractice and Assisted Living / Long Term Care defense.
We are looking for motivated attorneys with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience who are committed to providing high-quality legal representation and strategic litigation defense.
Position Responsibilities
Analyze and summarize medical records and case materials
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
Prepare clients for depositions and trial testimony
Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Attend court appearances and manage all phases of litigation
Develop case strategies and provide comprehensive reporting to clients
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar
3–10 years of litigation experience in General Liability; Medical Malpractice or Long Term Care defense preferred
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
