About the Role:
As a Medical Malpractice Attorney, you will play a vital role in advocating for clients who have suffered from medical negligence. You’ll work closely with them throughout the litigation process, ensuring their voices are heard and that they receive the justice they deserve. This position requires a blend of empathy, legal skill, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage litigation of assigned medical malpractice cases from start to finish
Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings; argue motions effectively
Take and defend depositions
Handle all aspects of trial preparation, including witness prep and strategic planning
Collaborate with internal teams and external medical/legal experts
Communicate with clients and insurance representatives
Uphold high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
Perform additional duties as required by leadership
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on medical malpractice litigation experience
Strong command of discovery practices and trial preparation
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and writing skills
Superior legal research and analytical skills with attention to detail
Must be licensed and in good standing with the Ohio Bar
Proven ability to work independently and manage a full caseload
