The Front Desk Office Assistant is the first point of contact for clients in our Behavioral Health programs; you would play a vital role in client experience and admission. Managing the front desk and office of a very high-paced chemical dependency and mental health treatment center. This includes the greeting of clients & ensuring they are receiving the highest level of customer care. This includes the greeting of clients & ensuring they are receiving the highest level of customer care. • Interacting positively and in a caring manner with clients, co-workers, and visitors. • Answers incoming phone calls and refers to the clinical team or other areas of the program. • Verify clients’ insurance coverage and eligibility for services. • Act as a liaison between the client and external agencies, advocating for clients’ needs throughout the intake and funding process. • Advocate for clients to secure funding to cover treatment costs. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client intake information, insurance, and funding assistance efforts. • Work with client files and maintain confidentiality in accordance with 42 CFR and HIPAA. • Maintain professional verbal & written communication with providers. • Communicate with patients and their families in a compassionate and sensitive manner. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Must have 2 years of experience in an office setting. • Preferred experience working with Medical Insurance/Benefits • Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Must be able to complete tasks with 100% accuracy. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
