    Client Care Specialist / Medical Office Coordinator

    About the Role We are looking for a friendly, organized, and service-driven Client Care Specialist to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. In this front-facing role, you will help create a positive experience for every patient from the moment they walk through the door or call the office. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing patient service, scheduling, payment collection, and administrative support in a busy healthcare environment.

    What You'll Do

    Welcome patients and visitors in a warm, professional, and helpful manner in person and by phone.

    Schedule appointments and help manage provider calendars accurately and efficiently.

    Collect payments, provide receipts, and support daily transaction reconciliation.

    Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is entered correctly in the EMR system.

    Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to support a smooth patient experience.

    Scan, upload, and organize documents while helping manage paperwork and signature flow.

    Respond to patient questions and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency.

    Keep the reception and front desk area clean, organized, and ready to serve patients each day.

    What We're Looking For

    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.

    One to two years of experience in customer service, front desk support, medical reception, or a healthcare setting preferred.

    Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

    Comfort using EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and other administrative software.

    Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and manage a fast-paced workflow.

    A positive attitude and genuine commitment to excellent patient service.

    Schedule and Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site position based in Las Cruces, NM. The role involves extended periods of sitting, frequent computer and phone use, occasional standing and walking, and light lifting of office materials as needed.
