The Medical Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy Ophthalmology Clinic to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient service. This role supervises administrative and clinical support staff, manages scheduling and workflow, ensures regulatory compliance and oversees financial functions including billing, payroll, and budgeting. Responsible for procurement of appropriate insurance coverage for the practice. Also collaborates with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery. Analyzes and reports on the financial performance of the COMPANY on a regular, ongoing basis.
Qualification:
Previous experience in medical management required
Strong knowledge of medical administrative support, human resources, and systems
Familiarity with Modernizing Medicine practice management software a plus
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures
Understanding of healthcare facility operation
Excellent computer skills
