About the Role:

The Neighborhood Clinic in Chandler, AZ is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and love making patients feel at ease, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software

Answer and route incoming phone calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries

Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service

Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EHR system

Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between clinical staff

Manage front desk operations including filing, faxing, and maintaining a tidy reception area

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk setting preferred

Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software

Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus

Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a bonus
