Key Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mobile Pediatric & Urgent Care Service, including:
Operational Leadership
Manage all mobile care operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant service delivery.
Develop, implement, and refine processes that enhance workflow, patient experience, and clinical outcomes.
Monitor schedules, dispatching, routes, and team assignments to maximize efficiency and timeliness.
Ability to perform all field team roles when needed.
Team Management
Lead, support, and supervise mobile care staff, including clinical personnel.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight to maintain high standards of professionalism and care.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment grounded in respect and service excellence.
Patient Experience & Customer Service
Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated concerns relating to mobile services.
Ensure all interactions reflect warmth, compassion, and professionalism—especially when caring for children and families.
Maintain strong patient satisfaction through proactive communication and service recovery when needed.
Clinical & Safety Oversight
Utilize clinical background and experience to support safe and appropriate care delivery.
Ensure adherence to medical protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure consistency in quality of care.
Financial & Budget Management
Assist with budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
Track operational metrics, service demand, and financial performance.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational waste.
Innovation & Service Growth
Develop strategies to expand mobile service capabilities, enhance patient access, and strengthen community relationships.
Analyze performance and propose improvements to optimize route management, staffing structure, and patient flow.
Collaborate with leadership on long-term planning, equipment needs, and service development.
Qualifications
Required:
Strong customer service skills and a passion for caring for children and families.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years in healthcare operations, business administration, or startup leadership, ideally with pediatric or urgent care experience.
Proven experience leading strategic initiatives or operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Prior medical or healthcare experience (such as RN, LPN, EMT, paramedic, or similar clinical role).
Experience in pediatrics, urgent care, emergency medicine, or mobile medical services.
Familiarity with budgeting, performance metrics, and operational tracking.
Comfort working in both office and field environments.
