    About Us

    Universal Point Clinics (UP Clinics) is a growing Occupational Medicine, Workers' Compensation, and Urgent Care practice expanding into diagnostic imaging services. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Practice Administrator / Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Occupational Health Clinic and newly opening Imaging Center.

    This is a leadership position responsible for clinic operations, staff management, business development, employer relations, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operations Management

    • Oversee daily operations of the occupational medicine clinic and imaging center • Develop and implement efficient workflows and operational procedures • Monitor clinic productivity, patient flow, and operational performance • Ensure high-quality patient service and satisfaction • Resolve operational issues and improve efficiency

    Staff Leadership

    • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate clinic staff • Manage scheduling and staffing levels • Conduct performance reviews and coaching • Foster a positive and professional work environment • Ensure accountability and team performance

    Workers' Compensation & Occupational Health

    • Coordinate workers' compensation operations • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, adjusters, nurse case managers, and insurance representatives • Support occupational health programs, DOT services, pre-employment exams, and employer accounts • Monitor service quality and turnaround times

    Imaging Center Operations

    • Assist with imaging center startup and ongoing operations • Coordinate scheduling, authorizations, and referrals • Ensure compliance with radiology and imaging regulations • Work closely with radiology staff and vendors • Monitor imaging center productivity and patient experience

    Revenue Cycle Oversight

    • Monitor billing, collections, accounts receivable, and reimbursement trends • Work closely with billing vendors and management • Review key performance indicators (KPIs) • Identify opportunities to improve revenue and reduce denials • Assist with payer contracting and credentialing processes

    Business Development

    • Develop relationships with employers and referral sources • Support marketing and growth initiatives • Identify opportunities to increase clinic and imaging center volume • Represent the organization professionally in the community

    Compliance & Quality

    • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, California regulations, and clinic policies • Maintain quality assurance programs • Support accreditation and regulatory inspections • Implement policies and procedures to improve compliance and patient safety

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare management experience • Experience in Occupational Medicine, Workers' Compensation, Urgent Care, Imaging, or Multi-Specialty Clinics preferred • Strong leadership and team management skills • Knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle management, and insurance reimbursement • Experience with EMR systems and healthcare operations • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment . Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or administration

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Occupational Health or Workers' Compensation experience • Diagnostic Imaging Center experience • Revenue Cycle Management experience • Business development and employer relations experience
