    Job Title: Medical Practice Manager – Nephrology Clinic

    Location: Chicago, IL

    Job Type: Full-time

    Reports To: Physician Owner/Medical Director

    About Us:

    We are a growing, patient-centered nephrology clinic committed to providing comprehensive kidney care, including Chronic Care Management (CCM), Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and dialysis coordination. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Practice Manager to oversee clinic operations, lead our care team, and support practice growth.

    Job Summary:

    The Medical Practice Manager will be responsible for the clinic's day-to-day administrative and operational management. This includes staffing, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate has prior experience in specialty care management (preferably nephrology), understands value-based programs, and can effectively lead a multidisciplinary team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality care delivery

    Supervise and support administrative and clinical staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations.

    Manage scheduling, billing, collections, and patient flow

    Coordinate Chronic Care Management (CCM), RPM, and other value-based programs

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and state regulations

    Collaborate with providers to optimize workflows, documentation, and EHR utilization (e.g., EHRyourway)

    Track key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, and operational goals

    Drive quality improvement initiatives and strategic growth opportunities


    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)

    3–5 years of experience in medical practice management (nephrology or specialty clinic preferred)

    Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management

    Familiarity with value-based care programs (CCM, RPM, MIPS, etc.)

    Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office tools

    Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with nephrology care coordination and dialysis workflows

    Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
