About the Role

The Clinic is seeking a dependable, highly organized Medical Receptionist to support our busy pulmonology practice. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, values professionalism and accuracy, and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in maintaining efficient front-office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out procedures

• Collect co-pays and verify insurance coverage

• Schedule appointments, procedures, and sleep studies

• Answer phones and coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff

• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems

• Perform administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry

• Ensure a positive, respectful, and efficient patient experience

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare setting preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable handling financial transactions and confidential information

• Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR)

• Ability to work independently and manage a busy provider/patient load
