Our state-of-the-art center is located just over the Casco Bay Bridge in South Portland. We are looking to expand our team of like-minded professionals who seek to provide exceptional experiences to our patients. We are currently hiring a part-time Medical Receptionist.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet our patients as they enter the center always making them feel welcomed

· Provide patients with the necessary forms to complete providing explanations and assistance as needed

· Register patients entering demographic and insurance information with upmost accuracy into our electronic medical record system

· Verify insurance eligibility, collect and record receipt of co-pays

· Answer telephone calls and relay messages as needed

· Perform various clerical duties such as photocopying forms, faxing and scanning

· Help to ensure that the patients are flowing through the center efficiently

Requirements:

· Must be available to work 8am-8pm two days a week falling on a Monday, Tuesday or a Wednesday and 8am-5pm Sundays for a total of 33 hours weekly

· Proficient with the use of computers, experienced with electronic medical record systems

· 2-3 years of medical reception experience

· High school diploma or equivalent
