Key Responsibilities
· Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
· Answer and manage high-volume phone calls and emails
· Schedule consultations and follow-up appointments
· Collect payments and verify insurance (when applicable)
· Maintain accurate patient records in both physical charts and electronic files (Nextech software)
· Coordinate with Office Manager & clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
· Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
· Keep the reception area clean and presentable
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience in a medical office (plastic surgery or dermatology preferred)
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
· Excellent verbal, telephone, and communication skills
· Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
· Experience in cosmetic or concierge-style medical practice
· Knowledge of patient financing options (e.g., CareCredit)
· Social media familiarity is a plus
