The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in supporting the front office operations. This position involves patient interaction, scheduling, and administrative duties, requiring sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential and emotionally sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient's appointments.
Assist with various administrative task such as data entry, faxing, scanning, and filing.
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
Prepare and distribute forms, documentation, and referrals as needed.
Manage intake paperwork and ensure all documentation is completed before appointments.
