ABOUT THE ROLE: Front Desk Medical Receptionist
We’re seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact, you'll help create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a healthcare setting, values customer service, and enjoys supporting a clinical team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and check in patients
Collect and input patient information into our cloud-based EMR system
Assist with sending and collecting digital intake forms
Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, text, or email
Answer phones and manage communication with patients in a timely, professional manner
Verify insurance coverage and manage pre-authorizations, referrals, and clinical reviews
Process payments for co-pays, coinsurance, and uninsured visits
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front office space
Open and close the office as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
1+ years of experience in medical reception or administration (preferred)
Experience with electronic health record systems (Genesis a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus
