International Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Bilingual Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is REQUIRED for this position.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, detail-oriented, respectful toward patients, and committed to providing excellent patient service.
Our front-desk team plays an important role in the quality of care our patients receive. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and willing to help families navigate appointments, insurance questions, payments, and other office needs.
We are looking for someone who will make every effort to facilitate the patient experience and ensure that patients and their families feel supported, respected, and cared for.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and families in a friendly and professional manner
Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish
Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently
Check patients in and out
Collect payments and provide receipts
Verify and process insurance information
Provide general information about appointments, services, and office procedures
Assist patients and families with questions and direct them to the appropriate staff member
Maintain accurate patient and administrative information
Support the clinical and administrative teams as needed
Help ensure the office runs smoothly each day
Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
Fluent in English and Spanish — required
At least one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional, and respectful
Compassionate and patient-focused
Resourceful and able to solve problems appropriately
Willing to learn new systems, procedures, and responsibilities
Able to work effectively in a positive, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Committed to providing patients and families with the highest level of service and care
