    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Grand Prairie, United States. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front office. This position requires someone who is organized, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

    • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, providing exceptional customer service from arrival through departure
    • Coordinate patient flow from initial check-in through treatment and checkout, ensuring a seamless experience
    • Answer phones promptly and professionally, directing calls appropriately and managing patient inquiries with empathy and efficiency
    • Manage electronic scheduling systems to optimize appointment availability and minimize wait times
    • Perform accurate data entry and verify patient personal and financial information with meticulous attention to detail
    • Maintain organized and secure patient charts and electronic medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
    • Collect, post, and deposit patient payments while ensuring accurate financial record-keeping
    • Handle faxing, filing, and other administrative duties as needed to support clinical and administrative teams
    • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively while maintaining composure
    • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support overall organizational goals and patient satisfaction
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1+ years of medical front office experience (preferred)
    • Excellent telephone and customer service skills with strong interpersonal abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with medical software systems preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a positive and energetic attitude
    • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy healthcare environment
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
    • Availability and flexibility with work hours, including potential weekend or evening shifts
    • Organized approach to managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
