    Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our front office team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of handling a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks in a busy medical setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner

    Answer and direct phone calls, manage voicemails, and schedule appointments

    Handle insurance verifications and prior authorization requests

    Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

    Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents

    Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth office operations

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Willingness to cross-train and assist in various clinical support areas, which may include:

    Collecting urine drug screens

    Taking and recording patient vital signs

    Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit with the provider

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Previous medical office or receptionist experience a plus

    Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems a plus

    Excellent communication and organizational skills

    Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

    Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation

    Willingness to assist with light clinical duties (training provided if needed)
