    Job Summary We are a busy personal injury law firm seeking a dedicated Medical Records Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HIPPA and FERPA regulations, focus on regularly updating clients' medical records and billing, and managing communication with clients and providers.     Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and providers, keeping them informed, and ensuring all communications are documented.
    • Assist in retrieving medical and academic records.
    • Provide essential support in ensuring that all medical records needed are obtained throughout the entirety of the case.
    • Regularly update and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in personal injury or a medical office is preferred.
    • Knowledge of HIPPA and FERPA regulations is required.
    • High School diploma required.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on record keeping and case organization.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, providers, and legal team members.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
