    • Facility/Division :- Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility (CJCF)
    • Duration ofAssignment: 3months, with possible extension
    • Work hours: Mon-Friday 8 am - 5 pm / (Can be a little flexible with in those hours)

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Clerk to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, and supporting the overall efficiency of our medical office. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of medical documentation and facilitating seamless communication within the healthcare environment.

    Duties

    • Organize and maintain patient medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Input and update patient information into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately.
    • Retrieve and file medical records as requested by healthcare professionals.
    • Ensure proper documentation of medical terminology and coding for various procedures.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries as needed for audits or compliance purposes.
    • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely access to patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Respond to inquiries regarding patient records from authorized personnel.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
    • Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
