    We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Records Tech to join our growing healthcare team in Ocala, FL. In this essential role, you will help ensure the accurate, timely, and secure management of patient information while supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinical practice.

    The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality. You will work closely with front office staff, nurses, and physicians in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly support quality patient care.

    Reponsibilities:

    Accurately file and organize documents within patients' electronic medical records (EMR)

    Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally and courteously

    Respond promptly to urgent medical chart requests from providers and staff

    Safeguard patient information and maintain strict HIPAA compliance

    Perform administrative support duties, including:

    • Scanning
    • Data entry
    • Photocopying
    • Faxing

    Assist with additional departmental needs and special projects as assigned

    Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, efficient, and patient-focused workplace

    Required Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Proficiency with standard office equipment and software

    Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

    Familiarity with medical terminology

    Previous healthcare or medical office experience
