    Position Summary

    The Scheduler at NJ Pediatric Neuroscience Institute (NJPNI) is responsible for coordinating and maintaining patient appointment schedules with accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency. This role requires exceptional communication skills and attention to detail to ensure a seamless experience for patients and providers. The Scheduler will work closely with the front desk, call center, and clinical teams to provide excellent customer service and maintain organized scheduling operations across multiple providers and office locations.

    Responsibilities

    Schedule new and follow-up appointments promptly and accurately in accordance with NJPNI scheduling guidelines.

    Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to confirm appointments, provide necessary information, and address scheduling inquiries.

    Coordinate appointment times and provider availability across multiple NJPNI locations.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patient appointments, cancellations, and rescheduled visits.

    Utilize scheduling software and EMR systems to manage patient appointments and provider calendars.

    Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow and optimize daily schedules.

    Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts or issues in a professional and timely manner.

    Uphold confidentiality and ensure all scheduling activities comply with HIPAA regulations.

    Monitor provider schedules and notify staff or management of any changes or open time slots.

    Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families, ensuring a positive experience throughout the scheduling process.

    Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

    Salary Range: $21.50 – 23.00.
