We care for a predominantly geriatric patient population, with a strong emphasis on comprehensive chronic disease management, preventive care, and long-term health optimization.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support our physicians with real-time clinical documentation and workflow efficiency. This is an ideal role for individuals pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, or allied health who are looking for meaningful, hands-on clinical exposure in a dynamic outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Document patient encounters in real time within the EMR
Accurately capture history of present illness, review of systems, physical exam findings, and assessment/plan
Assist physicians in maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day
Prepare charts in advance of patient visits, including relevant history and prior results
Ensure documentation supports appropriate coding and compliance standards
Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support overall office operations
Qualifications
Strong typing skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
Prior scribe or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
