    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team. In this role, the Medical Scribe will listen, observe, and accurately document real-time interactions between healthcare providers and patients. This is an in-person position, where the scribe accompanies the provider in the exam room and enters detailed clinical information into the electronic medical record (EMR) using a laptop or computer.

    Responsibilities

    Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR/EMR)

    Prepare, organize, and maintain patient medical records

    Assist with coding and billing documentation as needed

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain strict patient confidentiality

    Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and clinical staff

    Support providers by streamlining documentation and workflow

    Qualifications

    High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

    1–2 years of experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role

    Strong ability to take detailed and accurate clinical notes

    Excellent computer, typing, and transcription skills

    Knowledge of medical terminology (3–4 years preferred)

    Basic understanding of human anatomy

    Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred (1–2 years)

    Highly organized with strong time-management skills

    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Professional bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
