    Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Medical Supply Warehouse & Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and distribution team.

    This is not an entry-level warehouse position. Candidates must have at least 5 years of warehouse experience specifically within the medical supply, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or healthcare distribution industry.

    Job Summary

    The Medical Supply Warehouse & Forklift Operator is an integral part of our distribution operation and is responsible for the accurate and efficient receiving, handling, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare products.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a medical supply or pharmaceutical warehouse environment and understand the importance of accuracy, product identification, lot numbers, expiration dates, inventory rotation, proper storage, and product traceability.

    The position also requires professional experience operating forklifts and other powered and non-powered material-handling equipment.

    Responsibilities

    Receive and process incoming medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare supply shipments accurately and efficiently

    Unload incoming trucks and containers using appropriate warehouse equipment

    Inspect incoming shipments for damages, shortages, defects, incorrect products, and other discrepancies

    Verify products against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation

    Scan, label, locate, organize, and properly store received inventory

    Review and properly manage lot numbers, expiration dates, and product information

    Follow appropriate inventory rotation procedures, including FIFO/FEFO practices when applicable

    Operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, walkies, hand trucks, carts, and other warehouse equipment safely and professionally

    Pick and pull inventory accurately to fulfill customer orders

    Verify item numbers, quantities, units of measure, packaging, and other order details

    Pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipping and delivery

    Load outbound shipments and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently

    Relocate and stack pallets and products throughout the warehouse

    Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory

    Use barcode scanners, RF devices, and warehouse/inventory management systems

    Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, expired products, and receiving or shipping errors immediately

    Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe warehouse environment

    Follow company procedures and all applicable health and safety requirements

    Help maintain a high level of order accuracy and customer satisfaction

    Perform additional warehouse and inventory duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    Minimum 5 years of professional warehouse experience in medical supplies, healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare distribution

    Medical/healthcare/pharmaceutical warehouse experience is required

    Current forklift certification/license required

    Demonstrated professional experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment

    Strong experience with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and inventory control

    Experience handling medical, surgical, healthcare, and/or pharmaceutical products

    Knowledge of lot numbers, expiration dates, product traceability, and inventory rotation

    Experience operating pallet jacks, order pickers, walkies, hand trucks, and similar material-handling equipment

    Experience using barcode scanners, RF scanning devices, and computerized warehouse/inventory systems

    Ability to accurately read product numbers, labels, packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation

    Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently

    Ability to read and comprehend instructions, procedures, correspondence, and safety information

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

    Excellent organizational and time-management skills

    Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team

    Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance

    High school diploma or GED preferred

    Physical Requirements

    Candidates must be able to:

    Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday

    Regularly bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and lift

    Safely lift and move boxes, cases, and warehouse materials

    Perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift

    Safely operate warehouse and material-handling equipment

    The successful candidate will have significant experience in the medical supply or pharmaceutical distribution industry, professional forklift operating experience, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high standards for safety and order accuracy.

    Applicants without the required 5 years of medical supply, healthcare, or pharmaceutical warehouse experience may not be considered.
