Medical Support Assistant to join our private practice team at Neurology Care. The right fit for us is a reliable, experienced person who can lead patients from rooms to check out, stock medical and office supplies, and complete other assigned tasks that support our medical professionals. This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is seeking opportunities for on-the-job training.

Duties:

Leading patients from exam rooms to checkout

Ensure timely and secure delivery of confidential patient information

Maintain stocked supplies in patient rooms and other areas of the office

Develop and maintain relationships with staff at other healthcare facilities

Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry or filing

Adhering to company policies and procedures

Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk long distances

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working on clinical support, medical support, medical running, or in a related field

Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Experience with electronic medical records EMRs)

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
