Medical Support Specialist - Flint, MI
Compensation: $20 - $35 per hour DOE

As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting providers and patients by performing clinical tasks such as taking vitals, administering treatments, drawing labs, and assisting with specialized procedures. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where compassion, professionalism, and the ability to discuss sensitive health concerns with empathy are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist patients to exam rooms, record vital signs, and ensure accurate documentation.
Gather patient history, triage, and relay information to medical staff.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per provider instructions.
Educate and engage patients on sensitive health topics, including testosterone therapy.
Build long-term patient relationships by fostering trust and confidence.
Perform venipuncture, collect and process lab specimens, and follow documentation protocols.
Assist with clinical procedures such as Pulse and PRP treatments.
Ensure efficiency in workflow to minimize wait times and enhance patient satisfaction.
Complete all charting and documentation accurately and promptly.
Qualifications :
1–2 years of experience in a medical or clinical support role preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare training preferred.
Current certification or licensure as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to discuss sensitive health concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
