    About the Role

    Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to perform accurate and timely clinical laboratory testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology. This role supports the lab’s mission by ensuring high-quality diagnostics through independent judgment, adherence to regulatory protocols, and excellent operational execution.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct stat and routine tests in assigned disciplines

    • Maintain accurate documentation and records of test results

    • Analyze and troubleshoot proficiency samples and equipment issues

    • Perform and review quality control procedures, and take corrective action when needed

    • Assist with equipment maintenance and reagent inventory

    • Support regulatory compliance (e.g., CAP, Joint Commission)

    • Participate in on-call coverage and handle critical test results promptly

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology preferred

    • Florida Technologist License required

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

    • Demonstrated knowledge in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology

    • Familiarity with lab information systems and regulatory protocols (CAP, etc.)

    • BLS certification preferred
