We are seeking a part-time transcriptionist to complete a temporary assignment. Must be a local resident currently in the central Arkansas area. This position would include listening to the recorded dictation via USB drives and the ability to transcribe from digital recorders. They must have 3-5 years’ experience in transcribing diagnostic reports, referral letters, meeting minutes and other documents. They would also be in charge of reviewing and editing drafts prepared by speech recognition software. Must focus on ensuring the transcription is correct, complete, and has a consistent style, as well as identifying inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within a report that could compromise the accuracy of the documents.
