About the Role:

Medical Imaging Partners in Arcadia, CA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Records/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! This dynamic role combines patient-facing reception, scheduling coordination, and medical records management — making every day both engaging and impactful. Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients at the front desk, ensuring a positive and professional first impression

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly and courteously

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments for medical imaging procedures

Maintain and organize electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality

Process medical records requests, including retrieval, release, and distribution of patient information in compliance with HIPAA

Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of service

Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient daily operations

Requirements:

Prior experience in a medical office, front desk, or healthcare administrative role preferred

Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance regulations

Experience with medical scheduling software and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills

Bilingual (English/Mandarin) a plus
