Medicor Medical Group, Inc. is a Rancho Cucamonga based Primary care clinic looking for a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who will provide care to patients when they need it most. Applicant must possess all appropriate licensure and certification requirements with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will work under the supervision of 1 physician.

· Provide total patient care under the supervision of a physician

· Perform physical examinations and document preventative health measures

· Manage patient treatment plan

· Facilitate referrals, consultations, therapeutic services, etc.

· Assist physician during patient examinations

· Document patient chart and other documents as appropriate

· Orders diagnostic test relative to patient’s age-specific needs

· Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.

· Assists with the provision of care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

· Minimum one (1) year experience as NP or PA.

Education

· Graduate of an accredited RN and NP Program OR graduate of an accredited PA program.

· Master’s Degree in Nursing (effective 1/1/03 for those not previously grandfathered in by CMS- (NP only)).

License, Certification, Registration

· Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (California) AND Nurse Practitioner National Certificate AND Nurse Practitioner Certificate (California) AND Registered Nurse License (California)

OR

· Physician Assistant License (California) AND Physician Assistant National Certificate

· National Provider Identifier

· Basic Life Support
