Job Description

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service Reps will be placing outbound calls and taking inbound calls on a daily basis. They will be answering questions from patients or providers regarding their devices- mainly around insurance coverage and eligibility. They will be looking at medical policies for patients and determining if they have eligibility for it to be covered. They will be processing between 20-30 orders a shift and will take somewhere around 10 inbound calls. The focus in this role is more on quality and not quantity.

• Receive orders by phone or fax-obtaining all information necessary to process orders.
• Enter customer demographics and order onto the computer system, acquiring all information necessary for billing.
• Follow prescription/physician protocol when entering the order in the computer system
• Contact each customer to inform them of the order and procedure.
• Note all correspondence with the customer, doctor's office or physical therapist.
• Prioritize urgent or emergency orders.
• Print customer care plan and attach all needed documentation.
• Interact with all orthopedic team members to assist a patient regarding the status of their order.

SHIFT: M-F 8-5:30 PM

PAY: $19.23/HOUR
