SOFTWARE QUALITY ENGINEER 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE

One of Medix's top ranked clients in California is looking to add to their HQ location in San Diego, a Software Quality Engineer. Our client is one of the largest dental manufacturers across the US who is rapidly growing! This individual will work a 6 month contract to hire role on site. This engineer will be asked to create software validation documentation packages from scratch and enhance existing. • Create software validation documentation packages from scratch and enhance existing validations
• Follow test validation protocols to ensure the software is FDA regulated and compliant
• Execute software change documentation
• Responsible for staying up to date on software application validation on Quality, FDA, HIPPA and regulated compliance protocols
• Write test plans and test reports
• Work on projects when needed
• Communicate with executives and product owners to gather requirements, understand software capabilities and expectations, and develop test plans for this application

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

• Bachelors degree in related field or minimum of 4 years of experience working as a quality engineer, tester, QA, etc
• Experience performing software, product, or application testing to ensure quality and validation
• Experience writing test plans, test reports, and plan to execute the testing of these applications
• Familiarity with FDA, HIPPA, Quality, and government compliance around regulated software
• Ability to work on site Monday-Friday
