THE JOB

We are looking for a motivated, confident, well-organized, and detail-oriented IT Guru with a passion for success to serve as an Onsite Technical Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and apply your technical skills. You will work as part of a team ensuring all hardware is installed to our standards, fully operational, accurate, and up-to-date. This is a growing role within the business, so responsibilities will expand over time. This role requires attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

THE TEAM

You’ll be part of our Installations & Project team that consists of several in-house employees, outside field engineers, and a Project manager.  You’ll report to the Director of Field Operations. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO ALL DAY

• Evaluate and assess client infrastructure to ensure that it continues to meet Medix Dental IT standards.

• Onsite and remote installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of:

• Servers and workstations

• Wi-Fi systems

• Cloud VOIP Solutions

• Backup Systems

• Managed switches and firewalls

• Practice Management and Imaging software upgrades

• The ability to explain complex issues to non-technical personnel via clear and concise oral and written communication.

WE’D LIKE TO SEE

• 1-2 years of experience with workstation and server deployments.
• 2-4 years of general IT industry experience.
