Job Description

We have a team-orientated career opportunity to join our company as a full time Traveling Clinical Trainer. The role of the Clinical Trainer is to travel to new and upcoming sites for Medix Infusion for the purpose of training new employees. In addition to training new employees, the Nurse Educator will provide continuous education to our nursing team in various Medix Infusion locations.

Responsibilities:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a RN is required.
• Ability to travel to multiple states more than 50%.
• Prior training/educator experience preferred
• At least two years of experience working with infusion medicine patients, ED, or PACU is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
• Knowledge of PICC line management is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule depending on the needs of our facilities.
• Should be self-starter who requires minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Active RN license in Texas is required.
• BLS is required within the first three months of hire.
• Extensive travel required
