    Human Resources / Payroll Specialist FT $28 to $30 per hour San Marco

We are looking for a person who is motivated and enthusiastic about joining the MBCC team.

    In this role, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the payroll process, for 8 different payrolls. We process payroll in-house from start to finish using the premiere restaurant accounting and payroll system called Restaurant 365. In tandem with payroll, this position requires HR experience to be able to address FMLA, tactfully handle employee problems, and support team reaction that mitigates legal actions.

    As a payroll specialist, we are looking for someone who can:

    Collect timesheet data and payroll information accurately.

    Maintain confidential information.

    Enter data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.

    Evaluate labor reports for accuracy.

    Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.

    Prepare and process paychecks and cash deposits.

    Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.

    Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns.

    This position will require:

    Have achieved a BS in a related field.

    A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in payroll or a similar role.

    Has a grasp of GAAP and its application.

    Experience working with payroll software.

    Experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Strong organizational and time management skills.

    High numerical aptitude.

    Detail-oriented.

In addition, three paid holidays. This position pays $28 to $30 per hour depending on the candidate's experience.
