    Job Title: Meeting Room AV Configuration Specialist

    Position Summary

    We’re looking for a tech-savvy and detail-oriented AV Configuration Specialist to manage and optimize audio-visual systems across meeting rooms and collaboration spaces. This role is key to delivering smooth, high-quality AV experiences for meetings, presentations, and hybrid events.

    This is a short term contract to get our meeting room up and running. The install and set up is set for early August 2025. We are lookingfor a consultant specialist for a short term engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Configure and maintain AV systems including displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control panels

    • Set up and troubleshoot video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex)

    • Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to design and implement AV solutions

    • Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and system diagnostics

    • Document AV setups, wiring diagrams, and configuration standards

    • Provide on-site support for meetings and events, including live troubleshooting

    • Train end-users on AV system usage and best practices

    • Monitor AV performance and proactively address issues

    • Manage inventory of AV equipment and accessories

    Qualifications

    • MTR certification, Teams integration, touch panel configuration

    • Multi-display setup, wireless casting, basic AV controls

    • Projector/screen, speakerphones, HDMI routing, laptop connectivity

    • AV over IP, camera/mic setup, codec troubleshooting (e.g. Zoom, Teams), Crestron or Extron control

    • Experience with video conferencing platforms and room scheduling tools (e.g., Condeco, Outlook)

    • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

    • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics

    • Comfortable working independently and in fast-paced environments

    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in AV Technology, IT, or related field preferred
