Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review the following day's production schedule files and calculate amount of tortillas that will be needed for each line per day
Review tortilla order each day for production for the next morning and adjust accordingly
Produce a daily report using several different pieces of software to indicate potential shortages.
Submit, review, and modified shop orders provided by the scheduling manager.
Review the kitchen schedule and ensures that there is enough fill for each production day and line
Ability and familiar with math calculation formulas such as; sum, rest, multiplication, and division to solve basic mathematics to determine correct quantities are scheduled.
Prepare and deliver documentation that will be used in various departments; such as production and spice room etc.
Review various documents to ensure all the quantities match the system before distributing it to other departments.
Produce copies of forms needed for spices.
Prepare the Pre-Batch documents and various other documents for next day run.
Distribute the following day’s paperwork to the production team
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees. Ability to effectively present information to management and peers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of most commonly used business systems and software applications in addition to Windows Office and how these systems relate to business processes.
