Job Description: Summary: Implement LNP request on net /off net, new, conversion, change, move, and DID orders for customers via ILEC/CLEC electronic/ manual processes. Implement and complete Mitel & Global Linx LNP request for, DIDs, new, change, adds, toll free, activations, E911, CNAM, orders via Mitel & WAM portal and email request from dealers. Vendor Relations is responsible for the liaison with all vendors that Birch has entered into a commercial agreement with. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.) * Request CSRs , implement and complete customers LNP orders upon receipt via electronic/ manual process utilizing ILEC/CLEC business rules * Monitor work flow order status and update ICE / WAM/ MITEL task to ensure orders are completed within guidelines. * Contact internal /external customers to resolve customer related order issues and confirm FOC dates * Contact ILEC/ CLEC to resolve and escalate order processing issues, to ensure order completion within intervals * Follow escalation guidelines when problem cannot be resolved * Identify and recommend solutions to processing issues to enhance the order flow * Provide support for other departmental projects as needed * Participate in opportunities to develop both personally and professionally * To meet/exceed and maintain service levels as assigned by management * Escalating repair, ordering, compliance and billing issues on behalf of Birch staff and our end users. These are issues that have not responded to ordinary vendor provided escalation paths and need above management involvement to resolve. * To meet/exceed expected reliability standards * Upholds Birch Communications company virtues Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements: * Excellent internal / external customer service skills * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) * Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills * Organizational and time management skills * Analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency * Ability to keep customer information confidential * Ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation * Ability to coordinate conference calls and meetings * On net /Off net LNP order entry , FCC business rules * SOA * Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually changing Education and/or Experience Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * 3-5 years customer service experience * 1-2 years computer experience (internet, windows, database, etc.) * College Degree or 3-5 years telecommunications industry experience, preferred Job Title: SVCCOORAS - Service Coordinator Advanced Services Employment Type: Full time Location: Atlanta Operations Center
