Megatel Homes, LLC is currently looking for a New Home Color Selection Admin for our company. We are seeking a hardworking, personable, and driven team player to join our fast-paced office. Our ideal candidate is tech-savvy, deadline-focused, has an eye for detail and home design.
ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION WITH OPPORTUNITY TO GROW!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING):
- Oversee color selections, and design boards for new home starts, including paint, tile, and interior finishes
- Assign and Review Color Selections for new home construction
- Coordinate with the production team to meet deadlines
- Maintain database of Color Selection records
- Update systems with accurate information and assist with maintaining Design Center reports
- Conduct audits of design center materials
- Orders samples and keeps the sample room organized
- Answer calls and responds to all email inquiries
- Additional administrative tasks as assigned
- Room to expand and grow in this position
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Able and willing to learn and quickly adapt to existing business processes
- Maintain exemplary attendance, consistent punctuality, and be a dependable team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Present a positive attitude and a professional appearance.
- Basic understanding of floor plans are helpful
- Quick learner and adapt to technology
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Proven history of design experience
- Communicate clearly and effectively
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training in design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
