    THIS POSITION IS FOR 2ND SHIFT FROM 1:15PM TO 9:45PM MON - FRI

     

    The Mechanical Assembler 2 temp candidate should have 2 to 6 years related assembly experience. On a production basis, performs medium mechanical assembly work. Variable type of job. Often makes simple decisions, but must follow established precedents. Works under general supervision and has some responsibility for work output.

    Good understanding of products and processes. Able to troubleshoot assembly issues with support from supervision & able to work a variety of tasks.

    " Assemble machined parts " Apply mechanical assembly skills. " Riveting, hydraulics, bonding and torque assembly tasks. " Read blueprints and work instructions. " Perform failure analyses; troubleshoot mechanical failures with support from supervision. " Rework parts to print per instructions. " Able to work on a variety of tasks.

    Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

    Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

    • Ability to understand the process of vendor shipments
    • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of management.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, both oral and written.
    • Intermediate to Advanced Excel (to graph charts & track labor)
    • AS400/ASW  a  plus
    • Strong leadership and team development skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to influence others and operate effectively in a team setting.
    • Solid knowledge of all warehousing and inventory control functions
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
