The right person will have experience with Sage Accounting Software, construction accounting experience, AP/AR experience, and tax preparation experience. This role is integral to our small business, focusing on accurate and timely invoicing processes, maintaining meticulous financial records, and contributing to the overall financial stability of our company. • In office 5 days a week Compensation: • Salary Range: $65,000 • Paid Time Off • Benefits available • Growth opportunities We are only considering applicants located in Chadds Ford, PA. Responsibilities: • AP/AR • Act as the point person for all billing needs • Act as a point of contact for clients regarding invoicing inquiries • Monitor and track business expenses related to invoicing • Ensure accurate categorization of expenses for financial reporting. Handle all reconciliations • Implement and oversee credit control measures to ensure timely payment from clients • Strategic Financial Oversight: Utilize your extensive experience and strategic mindset to oversee all financial aspects of our office, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimizations • Comprehensive Financial Understanding: Develop a holistic understanding of our diverse holdings, producing insightful reports, and working closely with executive leadership to make data-driven decisions • Internal Control Management: Maintain robust internal controls, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial data • Continuously evaluate and improve invoicing processes for efficiency • Implement best practices to streamline the invoicing workflow • Financial Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and vision • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows and liquidity needs, ensuring the availability of funds for both operational requirements and investment opportunities • Tax Planning and Compliance: Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the office, optimizing tax strategies while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements in conjunction with ownership and their tax professionals • Financial Reporting Enhancement: Continuously improve financial reporting processes to provide more comprehensive, timely, and actionable insights to executive leadership • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial projections to guide decision-making • Process Documentation: Document and maintain financial processes and procedures, ensuring transparency and consistency in financial operations • Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on financial regulations and industry best practices, ensuring the office remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations • Vendor and Partner Relations: Manage relationships with financial service providers, auditors, and other external partners to optimize services and control costs Qualifications: • Sage Accounting Software a MUST • Construction accounting experience is a plus but not required • Property Management accounting experience a plus but not required • Experience with invoicing of vendors • Experience with insurance and tax audits a plus • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Effective problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset • Desire to operate in a Team First mindset • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are advantageous • MUST be tech-savvy Compensation: $65,000 yearly
