    Framatome is seeking a FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE for our Mill Ridge Road office in Lynchburg, Virginia.

     

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    Perform Shift Lead duties for contracted machining and welding component replacement and repair work scopes.  Projects include travel both domestic and international.

    Home office duties include training preparations, equipment preparations, procedure reviews, developing required equipment list, developing JHAs, perform technical training while ensuring Framatome safety protocols are followed and reinforced. 

    Onsite duties include delegating work assignments to individuals, coordinate appropriate resources for the immediate task performing pre-job briefings, ensuring safety requirements are followed, ensuring equipment preparations are in accordance with the Operating Instructions, review and assist with maintaining implementation documentation.

    Typical projects include but are not limited to:  IDTB repairs, Half Nozzle Repairs, Pressurizer Heater Replacements, Reactor Head Replacements, Thermal Sleeve Removal/Replacement, Steam Generator Replacements, Cavitation Peening.

    Duties include but are not limited too:

    • Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.
    • Conducts routine and non-routine tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance; collates data on task and outage performance.
    • Develops calculations, tables, reports and related data; maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.
    • Develops maintenance procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close out reports, as needed.
    • Participates in planning and executing projects; assists in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.
    • May provide input to training materials and may conduct training, as needed.
    • Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.
    • Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.
    • May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.
    • May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY:

    • High School diploma, or equivalent education, with a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience. Additional related training/education may be substituted for comparable years of experience.

     

     

    THE FOLLOWING MAY BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION:

    • Associates Degree, 5-10 years of related experience, machining and welding experience preferred.  Nuclear experience preferred.
