    Job Description

    Our agency is in the process of expanding due to new client additions and we are looking for a Client Representative to help with sales, client acquisition and retention, and business development.

    Mehta Marketing is a Pittsburgh-based consulting firm focused on new business development projects nationwide. Working with established clients in various industries including energy, technology, transportation, entertainment, and many more. This has given Mehta Marketing the opportunity to develop a team that is award winning and adaptable. Our administrative staff handles everything seamlessly on the back end so our business development team can focus on building relationships with customers and spending quality time face to face on behalf of our clients. Our firm has continued to create success and growth for our clients through direct marketing and sales, by utilizing our permanent business partnerships with promotional event coordinators and retailers.

    We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about working with a team and is confident in their sales and customer service abilities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in new business acquisition efforts by performing core business development work
    • Manage the needs of new customers by providing them with exceptional services
    • Develop relationships with new customers and provide them with information on the client’s products and services
    • Ascertain that customers are kept abreast of company policies and procedures and provide them with information on new products and services
    • Make accurate and prompt cost calculations and create and provide customers with quotations
    • Create sales agreements according to specific instructions and negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements
    • Gather market and customer data by performing detailed research activities
    • Advise customers on upcoming product developments and discuss special promotions while remaining within the “limited information” barrier
    • Assist the sales team by checking quantity of items on sale and in stock and coordinate efforts with vendors and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of stock
    • Record sales and order information in predefined databases and ensure that this information is communicated to the sales office as well
    • Observe sales processes by shadowing supervisors or sales representatives and emulate their sales management processes to meet set targets
    • Train and develop new sales reps as well as maintain standards with current sales team

    ONCE FIELDED, JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Actively managing and growing a sales campaign
    • Partnering with Sales team to meet or exceed division sales goals
    • Direct sales inside of trade shows, events, retailers and other local venues
    • Building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers
    • Conducting contract negotiations

    REQUIREMENTS

    • BA/BS in related field
    • 0-5 Years of experience in sales, marketing or related fields
    • Excellent references
    • Proven commitment between past jobs
    • Ability to work both in teams and independently
    • Requires little to no supervision
