Attitude: be happy & have fun. no one actually likes insurance (except us!) so we make it fun to come to work.

Humor: have a great sense of humor, we thrive on it

attention to detail: if you don't have it, please, respectfully, keep scrolling. We will know immediately and it is a requirement of this job

computer skills: outlook and the ability to navigate over 100 sites/programs that are all set up differently (we will teach)

humility: you are going to screw up in this job. Any job really, but you have to be humble enough to take direction from people who have been doing this for a long time who can teach, but you have to be able to listen and understand that direction

coachable: you must be able to be coached. This is NOT an easy job! We are all constantly learning. You have to be able to take direction, coaching and instructions well. Constantly. Daily.

Team: you must be able to work on a team. We are a small office but we do a lot. We are able to accomplish this because we work as teams.

Multi-tasking: this is an absolute must. You have to have the ability to start multiple things and finish them all while getting interrupted by people walking in without appointments, phones ringing, etc. It's just the nature of the beast.

Organization: have to max perform this skill. You will be air traffic control sitting at the front desk - phones, walk-ins, paperwork, daily tasks like calling people to handle service for their insurance.

Proactive: You need to be the type of person who jumps in and helps, not the one who says "that's not my job". And being proactive in helping rather than being asked to is what makes our team great. We need more people like this!

Communication: this is imperative. Without good verbal and written communication skills, you will never make it in this position. Must have this!!

be personable & patient: this is a must! our industry is stressful and it's our job to help people navigate the stress while handling their business without adding to said stress.

processing paperwork for the producer team

supporting the producer team to help them get policies bound properly

lots of miscellaneous stuff

no experience needed as we will teach you all of the stuff & things you need to know, but if you have experience, we will take that too!

MUST BE A NON SMOKER <--- severe allergies. we can tell if you smoke or live with a smoker immediately! Covering it up with perfume won't mask it, promise!

DRUG AND PERFUME FREE ENVIRONMENT <--- severe allergies to perfume

MUST BE WILLING TO OBTAIN LICENSE <--- if you don't have one already, must be willing to give up a weekend immediately upon hire to get one.
