We're looking for a responsible, kind person to help with school pickups and driving kids to after school activities. We typically need someone between 2:30 pm and 7:30/8 pm, though the exact number of working hours varies slightly weekly, based on parents' work schedules. (We like to be with the kids, when we can, but need coverage.) Pay is roughly $20 per hour, though we prefer to work on weekly salary, to ensure the hours we need are covered and nanny isn't penalized if we need fewer hours. Our three kids are 10, 9, and 6. We currently live in Forest Hills, but will move into the Hillsboro/Belmont area this fall to be closer to the kids' school and activities. We are open to 20 hours to 30 hours. Twenty hours would include mostly picking kids up, driving them home or to activities, helping with a bath for the youngest, homework for the older ones. In the past we've added some household or personal assistant responsibilities--errands, light cooking--for nannies who needed more hours. We'll ask for some light food prep--trimming vegetables, etc. Candidate must have previous experience working with kids, a clean driving record, two or three references, and be open to a background check. Job will run from August/September through May. Days could work either Monday through Friday, or Monday through Thursday, plus Saturday. Our kids school breaks are excluded.
